Paste Paper Workshop

The Horn Press will be holding a workshop on how to make paste papers on Friday, November 16th from 6pm-8pm in the Andrew Horn Room (Room 121) at GSE&IS.
Paste papers are decorative papers made using a mixture of paste and pigment. Images of paste papers and inspiration for designs can be found at this following link: http://www.mariekelzerdesigns.com/paste-papers-and-recipe.html
This workshop is the first of a short series of workshops for people to create page spreads for the Horn Press collaborative artist’s book project. The theme for the project will center around the prompt of “If I could design the collection of my dreams…” so that the final book becomes a collection of different collections. Participants of the workshop are not required to participate in the collaborative artist’s book project, but all are enthusiastically encouraged to join!
Please join us for a fun, creative time on Friday evening – it will be a great opportunity to squeeze in some extra excitement into the quarter before the incoming stress that is finals and a great follow-up event to attend after the SLA Tour of the UCLA Biomedical Library!
We hope to see you there!
